The Hispanic Citizen is a news website owned and managed by Latinos to provide a balanced new coverage reflective of the Hispanic community.  We cover events relevant to Hispanic culture and give mindful analysis on issues that impact on our community.  We believe a functional society requires informed individuals, and informed individuals, in one way or another, require a news provider committed to finding the truth.  We chose the name “Hispanic Citizen” to express the important role an individual plays in an arena much larger and far greater than himself.

We are not an advocacy group or a civil rights organization.  We do not organize immigration marches nor do we set up get-out-the-vote drives.  We have no allegiance to political parties, religion factions, or the government.  We are a news service that calls it as we see it. We are the Hispanic Citizen.
